A stronger tender starts with a clear bid decision.

We help businesses read the tender, understand what earns marks and turn their evidence into a structured response. Start with a standalone bid/no-bid review or discuss full tender-writing support.

What it is

The tender pack, translated into a plan

Public tenders combine instructions, eligibility questions, pricing schedules and scored responses. A persuasive answer is only useful if it addresses the actual question and can be supported.

We work from the buyer’s published pack, including the available amendments. Participation stages, tender submission dates and missing documents are treated separately, so the plan is built around the right deadline.

Plain-English glossary

Bid/no-bid review
A reasoned view on whether an opportunity is worth pursuing, based on the requirements, evidence, capacity and commercial position.
Requirement matrix
A working map from each instruction or requirement to its source, response location, evidence and owner.
Award criteria
The buyer’s published basis for evaluating responses. We structure the writing around the criteria in the specific pack.

Who it is for

For businesses with something real to offer

A first public-sector tender

You can deliver the work but want support navigating the tender documents and response process.

An established supplier under pressure

A live opportunity needs dedicated writing and review capacity alongside day-to-day delivery.

A bid that needs a second look

You need a candid view of a draft, a difficult requirement or whether the opportunity justifies the effort.

What we actually do

Read it properly. Decide. Then write.

A clear decision comes before a writing commitment. Each paid scope starts with the actual notice and the evidence your company can provide.

  1. 1

    Establish the source pack

Read the notice, documents and available amendments. Confirm what is present, what is missing and which deadline applies.

  2. 2

    Map selection and scoring

Separate pass/fail conditions from scored questions. Check relevant accreditations, insurance, financial requirements, experience and any framework-access conditions against your facts.

  3. 3

    Make the bid decision

Compare the requirements with your company’s evidence, delivery capacity and commercial position. Explain the case for proceeding, pausing or declining.

  4. 4

    Build and review the response

If writing is agreed, develop the response against the questions and scoring criteria. Review factual accuracy and gaps with you before final approval.

  5. 5

    Agree the handover

Set review dates, an internal submission target and the person responsible for uploading the approved files. Check the final pack against the instructions.

What you receive

A decision you can use, and a response you can stand behind

The written proposal states which deliverables are included. A standalone review does not commit you to full bid writing.

  • A written bid/no-bid view

The reasons to proceed, the reasons for caution and the conditions that need resolving before a decision.

  • A source-referenced requirement matrix

Instructions, eligibility gates, scored questions, attachments and submission rules tied back to the source pack.

  • An evidence and responsibility plan

What the response needs to prove, what you can already support and who will supply the missing information.

  • Response files within the agreed scope

For writing engagements: structured drafts, review comments, final approved files and a clear handover or submission plan.

What it costs

Choose the amount of support you need

Start with discovery, bring one opportunity for a paid review, or discuss a complete response. Fees, capacity and timing are agreed before work begins.

What happens next

Start with the notice on your desk

  1. 1

Send the official notice link, the deadline and a short description of your company.

  2. 2

We check the scope and availability, then agree the deliverables, timetable and fee in writing.

  3. 3

The review starts with the source documents and your confirmed facts. Any missing evidence remains an open question.

What we do not do

Clear boundaries, from the start

  • We cannot guarantee an award or a buyer’s score.

  • We do not invent registrations, certifications, experience, staff or evidence.

  • Your commercial pricing and the decision to bid remain yours.

  • We do not provide procurement-dispute or legal advice.

  • We do not submit in your name without an agreed, authorised process.

Community centre refurbishment for a Hampshire town council

A town council refurbishment scored 50% price, 40% quality and 10% local. We show how a small Hampshire decorating firm would read it, price it and answer the five quality questions.

Public notice reviewed 2026-09-12. It may no longer be open.

Questions

Before you get in touch

Can you review an opportunity before we commit to writing?

Yes. A standalone review gives you the recommendation, conditions and requirement map in its agreed scope. Full writing is a separate decision.

Can you guarantee compliance?

No blanket guarantee can replace the current tender documents and accurate company evidence. We map the instructions, check the response and highlight unresolved requirements for your approval.

Will you set our price?

Your pricing is a commercial decision. We can organise the pricing response and check that the requested schedules are addressed within the agreed scope.

Do you submit the tender for us?

Submission responsibilities are agreed in writing. We can prepare approved files for your team or support an explicitly authorised submission process.
